The Harambee House, Inc / Citizens for Environmental Justice (HH/CFEJ) is a Savannah-based non-profit with over two decades of practice helping people create safe, clean, healthy and sustainable communities that promote wellness, economic well-being, and environmental justice.

What Harambee House does …

Come join us for five intense days, July 29 — August 2, 2019, filled with workshops, seminars and creative activities.

At a time when we see

            • a rise in crime and violence against teenagers,
            • a growing separation between the rich and the poor,
            • a distrust of our political system,
            • and our weather has gone crazy
              • fires on the west coast
              • storms flooding our nation’s farms
              • a heat wave stretching around the world, even melting the Arctic icecaps

The Black Youth Leadership Development Institute provides our youth the chance to explore ways to change their lives through discovering their innate leadership abilities.  The age range for the Institute is 13 — 18 years.
